Outlook - Task 1
Before I made the assignment, I went to the website of Windows, which gives a perfect explanation of their Office programs, of which Outlook is one. I have looked at this video in particular. It gives a quick overview of all the different functions of Outlook.
The pdf on the left contains my calendar for the second semester. I use the calendar app of Apple, as I use a MacBook and iPhone. They synchronise with each other, so I find it much easier to use it then Outlook. However, I do synchronise the Outlook calendar of Artevelde with this application, in order to have all my classes in my agenda.
The pdf in the middle contains all my tasks in a separate document, which is downloaded directly from Outlook.
Finally, the Word document on the right contains the OneNote assignment. This is the same assignment as last year for ICT, so I have used the same.

Reflection
In the past, I did not really use Outlook often. As I mentioned before, I use the calendar application by Apple already and I am used to it now. However, I have learnt quite some new aspects, for example the assistent-planner of Outlook, which will be really useful in a business environment. I also like the fact that Artevelde has changed its schedules application, you can now synchronise it really easy with your phone and laptop calendars.
What I like about Outlook is that you have multiple features within the same application. Nevertheless, Outlook is not very easy to use. The latest version is also quite a bit different than the versions before that, which makes it a bit of a struggle every time the application is updated.
For now, I do not really see a reason why I should quit the Apple calendar application and switch to Office, but when I am working in a business environment, I am sure that it has many advantages and I will definitely use it then (and maybe even replace the Apple calendar).
